This functional porridge is your perfect ally, whether hot or cold, for an energized morning! Rich in fiber and a great source of protein, it also provides prebiotics—essential nutrients that feed the good bacteria in your gut and support healthy digestion.
Here’s an easy recipe for a nutritious and delicious breakfast, wherever you are!
INGREDIENTS
- 40 g of GR'EAT Porridge Chocolate & Hazelnut
- 120 ml of water
- 40 ml of (plant-based) milk
- 1 ripe pear (we used the ‘conference’ variety)
- 20 g of butter
- 1-2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp coconut sugar
- 3 tsp joy & hazelnut granola
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Mix 40g of the porridge oats with 120ml of water. Heat over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring regularly until creamy and smooth with the back of a wooden spoon. Add a splash of (plant-based) milk & stir.
2. Meanwhile, in a pan, bake some pear slices with 15g of butter, 1 tbs of maple syrup & a hint of cinnamon until golden.
3. Serve the porridge in a large bowl. Cover with a thin layer of coconut sugar and cubed butter. Add the pear slices, a teaspoon of Naughty speculoos nut butter and some Joy granola (dark chocolate & hazelnut).
