ALMOND PORRIDGE • PISTACHOES • GR’EAT DREAM
It’s winter... and orange high season! Oranges are low-glycemic index fruit, so a perfect match for breakfast. Porridge is high in fibres, proteinrich and low-glycemic. So a perfect combo to boost your brain health (thinking about all the dedicated students out there)!
INSTRUCTIONS:
You can make them over-night or cooked.
1. Grill 1 cup of whole OATS on high heat using 1 tsp of virgin coconut oil.
2. Add 2 cups of WATER and a pinch of seasalt & spices (vanilla or cinnamon).
3. Stir continuously on medium heat using a wooden spoon during 7-8 minutes until you get a creamy & chunky texture.
4. Just before serving add a dash of almond milk.
5. Top with fresh seasonal fruit & granola for some extra crunchiness. Add a swirl of smooth home-made nut butter or maple syrup.
