NUT BUTTER CUP • DARK CHOCOLATE • COCONUT POWDER • GR'EAT NUT BUTTER
INGREDIENTS:
- Dark chocolate
- Coconut powder
- GR'EAT butter CHEEKY/NAUGHTY
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Using a teaspoon, scoop out small portions of your favourite GR'EAT Nut or Granola Butter and shape them into balls.
2. Place the balls on a tray lined with baking paper and put them in the freezer for about 1 hour until they are firm.
3. While the nut butter balls are chilling, melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water ('Bain-marie technique') or in the microwave (4 min at 400W), stirring occasionally until smooth.
4. Assemble the Cups
• Take out the frozen nut butter balls from the freezer.
• Using a spoon, drop a teaspoon of melted chocolate into the bottom of each cup of a silicone cupcake mold or mini muffin tin, spreading it slightly up the sides.
• Place a frozen nut butter ball in the center of each cup.
• Pour more melted chocolate on top of each nut butter ball, covering it completely.
• Sprinkle coconut powder over the top of each cup for an extra touch of flavour.
5. Chill & Serve
• Place the filled cupcake mold or muffin tin in the freezer for about 1 hour, or until the chocolate has set completely.
• Once set, remove the Nut Butter Cups from the mold and transfer them to a serving plate.
• Enjoy these little wonders immediately, or store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for later indulgence!
